    Patrick Holford has been a leading figure in nutrition since 1984. He was Founder of the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, with his mentor, twice Nobel Prize winner Dr Linus Pauling, as patron.

    MBBS, DRCOG, DFSRH, FFSRH, MBCAM

    Dr Peers, having trained and worked in General Practice, then concentrated on woman’s’ health working as a Consultant in Contraception and Reproductive health, with a special interest in menopause. She was a key opinion leader internationally and co-authored several publications. More recently she has developed an interest in MCAS and histamine intolerance. During Covid, Tina became an authority in treating Long Covid, and opened a Long Covid clinic in November 2020, also treating people injured from the Covid injections.

  • Dr Dean Patterson

    Dr Patterson studied at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, graduating in Medical Sciences and Surgery in 1992, then moved to England in 1995 to take up the position of Senior House Officer in general medicine at Cheltenham General Hospital, where he obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians.

    In 1997 Dr Patterson became the Specialist Registrar in general medicine and clinical pharmacology at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where he specialised in cardiovascular research. Subsequently he became the Research Fellow and Cardiology Registrar at the Hypertension research unit and Coronary care unit at Dundee University.

    In 2003 he became the Clinical Lecturer in cardiovascular medicine and Honorary Specialist Registrar in general medicine at the Tayside University Hospital, Dundee – a role that included a training post in cardiovascular medicine and the assessment of acute vascular referrals.
    He was involved in teaching, such as a regional primary care workshop in cardiovascular disease, and has published widely within his specialist field.

    Dr Patterson is a member of the British Cardiovascular Society, British Echocardiography Society and the British Medical Association. In 2010 he underwent further specialist training for the reporting of CT Coronary angiography.

    Since coming to Guernsey, Dr Patterson has introduced non-invasive cardiovascular stress testing, with the support of the Nuclear medicine and Radiology departments at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, enabling assessment of patients at risk of heart attack prior to routine surgery. Dr Patterson introduced a protocol for the treatment of patients with heart attacks which has helped to maximise the medical treatment of these patients and led to the introduction of critical off-island referrals for coronary angiography and stenting.

    is a Doctor, Mum, NHS GP. TalkTV presenter and Daily mail/Mail online author. After working for the BBC for many years, she now co-presents the Talk Tv Breakfast Show with Dr David Bull on Saturday and Sunday.

    Alun is a British stage screen and television actor. As well as his extensive classical work for The Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre he created the role of Monsieur Thenardier in the original musical production of Les Miserables and won an Olivier Award for his Sweeney Todd in the Sondheim musical. His many film appearances include the iconic Get Carter, Braveheart and The Mummy Returns. He is probably best known as Brian Lane in the popular and long-running television series New Tricks. He became interested in the politics of medicine many years ago when he was given a copy of Malcolm Kendrick’s book The Great Cholesterol Con as a birthday present. It was meant as a joke but turned out to be a revelation.

  • Dr Andrew Bryant

    Dr Bryant is a Research Associate (biostatistician) with expertise in evidence synthesis and primary clinical trials/studies. He was lead author with Dr Tess Lawrie on the ‘controversial’ ivermectin systematic review and strongly advocates the WCH and research into the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr Bryant has a strong affiliation with Gynaecological cancer research and has more than 100 publications in his research portfolio. He has also been a co-applicant on many trials and projects in other areas. He is an avid cricket fan, so the home of cricket is perfect venue for a recollection of his statistical knowledge and experiences of past matches!

  • Dr Bret Weinstein
    Dr Bret Weinstein

    Dr. Bret Weinstein has spent two decades advancing the field of evolutionary biology, and is currently working to uncover the evolutionary meaning of large scale patterns in human history, and seeking a game theoretically stable path forward for humanity.
    Dr. Weinstein earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Michigan, where he was given the Don Tinkle Award for distinguished work in Evolutionary Ecology, and he earned a BA in Biology from UCSC. He was a professor at The Evergreen State College for 14 years.

  • Do I need to print out my ticket for the event?

    We will have a guest list on the door, so please bring your ticket confirmation email with you or a print out.

  • Is there disability access at the venue?

    The space we are in is accessible via lifts If you do have a disability that is clear or less clear and would like to make us aware of this, please do so when purchasing a ticket and we will do everything we can to make you as comfortable as possible.

  • Is there parking at the venue?

    Unfortunately, there is no parking at the venue.

  • Can I request my dietary requirements ?

    Upon purchasing your ticket, you will have been asked to fill in any specific dietary requirements. If you need to make any changes to these, please get in touch.

  • Is there a dress code?

    We will be dressing smart casual. Please join us with this if it is comfortable for you.

Underground:

St John’s Wood is the closest tube station to the ground(approximately 5 minutes’ walk), while Baker Street, Warwick Avenue, Marylebone and Edgeware Road are also within 15-minute walk.

Bus:

The 13 and 113 routes run adjacent to Lord’s on Wellington Road (to the east of the Ground). These stop closest to the North and East Gates but are within a comfortable walking distance to the Grace Gate.

The 139 and 189 routes run adjacent to Lord’s on Grove End Road (to the west of the Ground). These routes stop closest to the Grace Gate, but are a short walk from the East and North Gates.

Train:

The nearest main line railway station is Marylebone, served by Chiltern Railways, which is approximately ten minute’s walk from the Ground. Marylebone Station is on the Chiltern line.


Paddington Station is approximately twenty minutes’ walk from the Ground, for services to West and South-West England and South Wales.


Euston, King’s Cross and St Pancras International stations are only a short journey
